Design is simply not a job, it’s a way of life…
After graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media I worked as in house designer before moving onto a senior design role and eventually Studio Manager for a design company based in Ireland.
Working in industry demonstrated the importance of design coupled with business and marketing acumen in order to accurately position a brand to gain awareness within the target market. To this end I completed a further Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Sales Management and PR.
My career has spanned over a decade and most recently I returned to education to complete a Masters in Professional Design Practice being awarded a First Class Honours in 2009. This is in keeping with my philosophy of constant self- improvement through education and research to keep ahead of trends in an evolving industry like design.
